Mapi session "/o=*/ou=*/cn=*/cn=*" exceeded the maximum of 32 objects of type "session"
Hey Guys, I have an issue on my Exchange 2003 Server, I have been doing some investigating on this issue for a while now and have had no joy. I have read that this issue is caused by users either being abusive (which in my case I dont think it is the issue) in regards to opening up to many sessions on the clientside, a bug in the client software (again I dont think this is the issue as we are using a mixture of Outlook 2003 / 2007 fully up to date on the client side). Let me give you some background information to start with, I have recently started working for this company and 3 weeks before I started they changed the domain name to a new one, completly flattened the domain and started again as they had a company name change also. Now several users are (one imparticular) always seems to have issues with their outlook (this particular client is on a remote VPN connection as he works from home) the issue seems to relate back to the session limit being reached by the user and is logged on the server. I have to then manually go into the server and restart the MS Information Store service to allow the user to regain connectivity. Mapi session "/o=<ORG>/ou=FIRST ADMINISTRATIVE GROUP/cn=RECIPIENTS/cn=SPENCERD" exceeded the maximum of 32 objects of type "session". This is the user who seems to have the most trouble all though there are others, and there is no consistency with the errors they are totally random. One BIG issue I have found is that these logs when they refer to the user like the one above refers to the user SPENCERD, these references are from the old domain, the users are now in the format first letter of their first name and then their surname where as before it was there first name and then the first letter of their surname. Im not sure if this is part of the issue or is something totally seperate. Any help would be great. Sorry about the spelling. Cheers Lee
